How Kinlace Works
You don't need a free weekend. You need ten minutes and one thing to add.
You don't have to organize everything today
Most people who put this off aren't being careless, they're overwhelmed by the size of the project. So Kinlace doesn't ask you to complete anything. Add your will. Add one bank account. Add the name of your insurance agent. That's a real start, and it's already more than most people ever get to.
Everything in one place, organized the way real life actually works
When you're ready for more, Kinlace organizes your financial life into 8 categories, so you always know where to look, and so does anyone you choose to share with.
Financial Accounts
Bank, retirement, investment, Social Security, Medicare
Insurance
Life, health, auto, homeowners, employee benefits
Legal Documents
Will, estate plan, power of attorney, living will, executor designation
Physical & Valuable Assets
Real estate, vehicles, safes, valuables, vital documents
Tax
Returns, financial records
Professional Contacts
Advisor, accountant, doctors
End of Life Planning
Funeral wishes, obituary, pet care instructions, final tax return
People to Notify
Spouse, children, siblings, friends, charities
Add as many accounts, providers, or contacts as you need in any category. Multiple retirement accounts, multiple properties, multiple kids. Kinlace never limits you to one entry per section.
The guide behind the vault
Andy is named after our founder's grandfather, Andrew, who everyone called Andy. Years before he passed, he handed his family a set of envelopes with every account, policy, and document they'd need, plus a plan for what to do next. It wasn't a checklist. It was an act of love, and it meant that when the time came, his family didn't have to search for anything. They just grieved.
That's the spirit Andy carries inside Kinlace. Andy isn't a compliance officer or a wall of warnings. Andy looks at what you've added and points out the one or two things most worth doing next, like an unshared will or a retirement account with no beneficiary listed, the same way a grandfather might gently remind you what still needs doing.
Andy never tells you what legal or financial decisions to make. When something moves from organizing into advice, Andy points you toward a professional instead.
Invite the people you trust, always free
Invite a spouse, adult child, executor, attorney, or advisor, and choose exactly which categories each person can see. Share your insurance and bank info with your spouse without opening up your legal documents to everyone. Every access is logged, so you always know who's seen what, and when.
Inviting people never costs extra, no matter how many you add.
Not a folder. Not a single-purpose app.
Most tools help you manage one part of your financial life: a document vault, a budgeting app, a will-drafting service. Kinlace helps you organize all of it, in one place, with Andy guiding you toward what's missing and sharing controlled entirely by you.
