Do I have to organize everything at once?
No. Add one thing at a time. Andy looks at what you've added and tells you the one or two things most worth doing next, so you're never facing a giant to-do list.
Who is Andy?
Andy is Kinlace's guide, named after our founder's grandfather. Andy reviews what you've added and points out gaps worth closing, like an unshared will or a missing beneficiary. Andy never gives legal or financial advice, only points you toward what's worth checking on next.
Who can see my information?
Only you, unless you choose to share. You decide exactly which categories each person can see, and you can change or revoke that access anytime. Every view is logged, so you always know who's looked at what.
Is there a limit on how much I can add, or how many people I can share with?
No. Every plan includes unlimited vault entries and unlimited free designees. Add as many accounts, properties, or contacts as you need.
How is my information protected?
Your information is encrypted at rest and in transit. Sharing permissions are enforced at the database level, not just hidden behind a screen. We don't sell your data, ever.
What happens if I stop paying, or if something happens to me?
The categories you've already shared with a designee stay visible to them, even if your subscription lapses. Kinlace shouldn't be the reason your family loses access to something you meant for them to have.
Is Kinlace a substitute for a will or an attorney?
No. Kinlace helps you organize and store information, including your existing legal documents, but it doesn't draft legal documents or provide legal advice. When something moves from organizing into a legal or financial decision, Andy points you toward a professional.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There's no contract and no cancellation fee. Cancel whenever you'd like.
